Qualification for membership, along with execution of an extensive application and vetting process exemplifies our goal to be the 'elite of the elite' within the professional investigation industry.

Review the description and select the membership class for which you are eligible. Determine eligibility before proceeding.

Read the requirements for membership and the Council Constitution, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, as well as the Council of International Investigators Code of Ethics before applying for membership.

Application fee

An non-refundable application fee of $195.00 (US Dollars) is to be submitted with Application. Annual dues for Certified, Affiliate, and Qualified members are currently $235.00 (US Dollars).  For new members joining mid-year first year dues will be pro-rated.  Annual dues for Associate members are currently $100.00. The dues are approved by the Board of Directors.

Application review

Applications are reviewed and voted on by our Board at regular board meetings throughout the year.  The vetting process can take 2-6 months to complete.

Acceptance

Once we have reviewed your application, and the Board has voted on it, you will be informed if your application has been successful.
